Mitre 10


I visited the Mitre 10 complex in Geelong as an example of a single-level long span building which effectively shows the use of steel portal framing.
Here we can see the continuous long span steel design and in particular, the UB beams and the purlins.


In this photo we can see the steel UB beam and stanchion as well as the insulation.
